Welding of assemblies

We manufacture high-quality welded assemblies made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium according to your requirements.

Components made of steel and stainless steel are welded with the procedures MAG, WIG and fully automated with CMT. For aluminium we use the procedures MIG, WIG and CMT. Suitable components are produced with low warp and particularly small seams using laser welding in the 3D laser welding centre, fully automatically and with particularly low thermal introduction. Trained operators and certified welders ensure the quality of welding products.

Since upstream technologies such as laser cutting and CNC bending are available, you get your assembly completely from on source.


Spot welding

Spot welding, a form of resistance welding, is a very efficient connection technology without material consumption.

The workpieces to be joined are pressed together by two welding guns, equipped with electrodes. With the help of electricity they are heated locally and are permanently connected.

By spot welding we join steel and stainless steel up to a sheet thickness of 6 mm as well as aluminium up to a sheet thickness of 4 mm (Further material thicknesses are available on request). Equally, weld nuts can be fixed by spot welding.

Compared with other welding methods spot welding is very precise, the material distortion is relatively small.


Robot-controlled CMT and WIG welding technology

In addition to welding processes mentioned above, we also have robot-controlled CMT and WIG welding technology (CMT welding with filler material, WIG welding without filler material). The robotic device was conceived for demanding projects and the highest repeat accuracy and is equipped with optical welded seam detection (tracking camera). Thus the position of the welded joint before welding and the joint course during welding can be detected.
Alongside the fully automated, quality-assured welding of your components, the system enables the thermal joining of different metals such as aluminium with galvanised steel. We can also carry out thin sheet welding of aluminium sheets (from 0.5 mm) and the welding of components with a length of up to 7 m using welding robots.

The result: quality welded assemblies, an almost entirely splash-free material transfer as well as even structural elements through the low heat energy transfer - a welding seam close to the laser seam
